Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Clovis Wildcats (Clovis, NM), 30-0 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 10-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carlsbad for a 5A District 4 challenge on Tuesday, April 18. Hobbs will battle a Cavemen squad coming off a 17-7 league win over Roswell (Roswell, NM). The Cavemen record now stands at 16-2.

With the loss, Clovis falls to 2-16 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Roswell (Roswell, NM) to battle the Coyotes in a 5A District 4 challenge on Tuesday, April 18. The Coyotes enter the challenge with a record of 11-7. Roswell lost 17-7 in their recent league challenge against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM)
