California High School Softball - Mendota holds off Firebaugh

Mendota Aztecs (Mendota, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Firebaugh Eagles (Firebaugh, CA), 6-4 in a league match.

The Aztecs now sport a 5-9 record. They play next when they host Tranquillity for a West Sierra match on Tuesday, April 18.

With the loss, Firebaugh moves to 4-8 on the season. The Eagles travel to Dos Palos (Dos Palos, CA) to meet the Broncos in a West Sierra match on Tuesday, April 18. The Broncos go into the match with a record of 2-7.
