Floresville Tigers (Floresville, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) (Uvalde, TX), 10-1 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 20-7 record. They take the field next when they host Carrizo Springs for a 4A Region IV District 29 challenge on Tuesday, April 18. Floresville will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 12-6 league loss to Pearsall (Pearsall, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-12.

With the loss, Uvalde falls to 15-12 on the campaign.
