Wichita Falls Coyotes (Wichita Falls, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Gainesville Leopards (Gainesville, TX), 15-6 in a league challenge.

The Coyotes now own a 10-14 record. They take the field next when they host Burkburnett for a 4A Region I District 7 challenge on Monday, April 17. Wichita Falls will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Gainesville (Gainesville, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 15-5.

With the loss, Gainesville falls to 6-15 on the campaign. The Leopards travel to Sanger (Sanger, TX) to battle the Indians in a 4A Region I District 7 challenge on Tuesday, April 18. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 14-12. Sanger won 23-0 in their recent league challenge against Hirschi (Wichita Falls, TX)
