Groveton Eagles (Groveton, NH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Lisbon Panthers (Lisbon, NH), 18-2 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Moultonborough Academy for a Division IV challenge on Tuesday, April 18.

With the loss, Lisbon falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Panthers host Colebrook Academy (Colebrook, NH) to face the Mohawks in a Division IV challenge on Monday, April 17. The Mohawks enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
