Somonauk Bobcats (Somonauk, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Illinois Math & Science Academy Titans (Aurora, IL), 13-2 in a league challenge.

The Bobcats now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Serena for a Little Ten challenge on Monday, April 17. Somonauk will face a Huskers squad coming off a 10-2 league win over Hiawatha (Kirkland, IL). The Huskers record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Illinois Math & Science Academy falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Titans host Newark (Newark, IL) to face the Norsemen in a Little Ten challenge on Thursday, April 20. The Norsemen enter the challenge with a record of 14-0.
