The Providence Hall Patriots softball team scored 18 runs and limited the host Juan Diego Catholic Soaring Eagle to 3 in the Patriots league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Providence Hall moves its record to 5-3 on the year. The Patriots travel to Judge Memorial Catholic (Salt Lake City, UT) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 3A Region 15 game on Monday, April 17. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 0-4. Judge Memorial Catholic lost 23-14 in their recent league game against Summit Academy (Bluffdale, UT)

In their next game, the Soaring Eagle clash with the Ben Lomond Scots (Ogden, UT) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 17. Juan Diego Catholic will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Scots come into the game with a 4-5 record after their 9-7 league loss to South Summit (Kamas, UT).
