Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Union Titans (Vancouver, WA) and the visiting Kelso Hilanders (Kelso, WA), witnessed Union's softball squad tip Kelso by a count of 8-1.

The Titans now sport a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Skyview for a 4A Greater St. Helens match on Monday, April 17. Union will meet a Storm squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Ridgefield (Ridgefield, WA). The Storm record now stands at 10-0.

With the loss, Kelso moves to 4-6 on the season. The Hilanders travel to Evergreen (Vancouver, WA) to meet the Plainsmen in a 3A Greater St. Helens match on Monday, April 17. The Plainsmen go into the match with a record of 6-4. Evergreen lost 14-2 in their recent non-league match against Mark Morris (Longview, WA)
