California High School Softball - Kennedy bounces McFarland

Kennedy Thunderbirds (Delano, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting McFarland Cougars (McFarland, CA), 13-3 in a league challenge.

The Thunderbirds now own a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they host Shafter for a South Sequoia challenge on Wednesday, April 19. Kennedy will face a Generals squad coming off a 6-3 non-league win over Garces Memorial (Bakersfield, CA). The Generals record now stands at 12-2.

With the loss, McFarland falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Cougars host Chavez (Delano, CA) to face the Titans in a South Sequoia challenge on Wednesday, April 26. The Titans enter the challenge with a record of 9-8.
