The Wylie Bulldogs softball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Lubbock Westerners to 2 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Wylie moves its record to 23-6 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Coronado (Lubbock, TX) to clash with the Mustangs in a 5A Region I District 4 game on Tuesday, April 18. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 7-8. Coronado lost 13-0 in their recent league game against Abilene (Abilene, TX)

In their next game, the Westerners clash with the Monterey Plainsmen (Lubbock, TX) in a 5A Region I District 4 game, on Friday, April 21. Lubbock will attempt to move on its 4-12 season record. The Plainsmen come into the game with a 25-4 record after their 11-1 league win over Cooper (Abilene, TX).
