The Navajo Prep Eagles softball team scored 19 runs and limited the visiting Newcomb Skyhawks to 1 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Navajo Prep moves its record to 10-4 on the year. The Eagles host Tohatchi (Tohatchi, NM) to clash with the Cougars in a 3A District 1 game on Tuesday, April 18. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 8-7. Tohatchi lost 17-7 in their recent league game against Zuni (Zuni, NM)

In their next game, the Skyhawks clash with the Wingate Bears (Fort Wingate, NM) in a 3A District 1 game, on Tuesday, April 18. Newcomb will attempt to move on its 2-9 season record. The Bears come into the game with a 3-8 record after their 26-6 league loss to Navajo Prep (Farmington, NM).
