Utah High School Softball - Stansbury bounces Payson

The Stansbury Stallions (Stansbury Park, UT) softball routed the visiting Payson Lions (Payson, UT), 16-10 in Friday's league bout.

The Stallions (5-5) will now prepare for their bout against Cottonwood (Salt Lake City, UT). The Colts go into the 5A Region 7 bout with a 0-10 record. In their last bout, Cottonwood was routed by Olympus (Salt Lake City, UT), 15-0, in a non-league bout.

The Lions now possess a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Salem Hills for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 15. Payson will confront a Skyhawks squad coming off a 11-1 league win over Wasatch (Heber City, UT). The Skyhawks record now stands at 5-5.
