Ray Bearcats (Kearny, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Valley Union Blue Devils (Elfrida, AZ), 19-5 in a league challenge.

The Bearcats now own a 15-6 record. They take the field next when they host Desert Christian for a 1A South challenge on Monday, April 17. Ray will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 26-2 league win over Duncan (Duncan, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 10-8.

With the loss, Valley Union falls to 8-6 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to St. David (St. David, AZ) to battle the Tigers in a 1A South challenge on Wednesday, April 19. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 13-7.
