Kennedy Catholic Gaels (Somers, NY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Sunday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the visiting Monsignor Farrell Lions (Staten Island, NY), 7-6 in a league battle.
The Gaels now have a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they host St. John the Baptist for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 27.
In their next game, the Lions clash with the Xavier Knights (New York, NY) in a Catholic - City battle, on Thursday, April 18. Monsignor Farrell will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record.
