The Payne Tech Lions baseball squad (Newark, NJ), was overwhelmed 8-2 in Monday's non-league contest with the host Bloomfield Bengals (Bloomfield, NJ)
With the triumph, Bloomfield moves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Bengals travel to Montclair Kimberley Academy (Montclair, NJ) to confront the Cougars in a SEC - Liberty contest on Tuesday, April 15. The Cougars come into the contest with a record of 3-1.
The Lions now possess a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Orange Campus for a SEC - Colonial contest on Wednesday, April 16.
