The Vance Charter Knights baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions to 0 in the Knights league win on Monday.

The Knights now hold a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to American Leadership Academy-Johnston for a non-league test on Friday, April 18. Vance Charter will play a Patriots team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Village Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 11-5.

With the defeat, Excelsior Classical Academy drops to 1-5 on the year. The Flying lions host Roxboro Community (Roxboro, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a Triangle North 1A test on Tuesday, April 15. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 4-9. Roxboro Community won 4-3 in their recent league test against Eno River Academy (Hillsborough, NC)
