In Monday's league game, the host Magdalena Steers baseball team scored a nice 11-0 win over the Grady Bronchos.
The Steers (9-3) will now prepare for their game against Melrose (Melrose, NM). The Buffaloes go into the non-league game with a 7-5 record. In their last game, Melrose was overwhelmed by Dora (Dora, NM), 9-6, in a league game.
Next, the Bronchos play the Cimarron Rams (Cimarron, NM) in a A District 2 game, on Friday, April 18. Grady will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Rams go into the game with a 5-3 record after their 11-3 league loss to Logan (Logan, NM).
