The Greenwood Gators baseball team scored 13 runs and held the host Logan County Cougars to 1 in the Gators non-league win on Monday.

The Gators now own a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they host Allen County-Scottsville for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 15. Greenwood will play a Patriots team coming off a 7-3 non-league loss to Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY). The Patriots record now stands at 3-10.

With the defeat, Logan County drops to 8-5 on the year. The Cougars host Christian County (Hopkinsville, KY) to play the Colonels in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 15. The Colonels go into the test with a record of 9-7. Christian County lost 9-8 in their recent non-league test against Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY)
