Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Hughesville loses to Southern Columbia Area

The Hughesville Spartans baseball squad (Hughesville, PA), 5-2 in Monday's league contest with the visiting Southern Columbia Area Tigers (Catawissa, PA)

With the triumph, Southern Columbia Area moves its record to 8-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to Warrior Run (Turbotville, PA) to confront the Defenders in a Heartland III contest on Wednesday, April 16. The Defenders come into the contest with a record of 7-0. Warrior Run won 13-0 in their recent league contest against Bloomsburg (Bloomsburg, PA)

The Spartans now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mifflinburg for a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 16. Hughesville will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Loyalsock Township (Williamsport, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-5.
