Texas High School Baseball - Marion holds off Randolph

The crowd at Monday's league battle between the Marion Bulldogs (Marion, TX) and the host Randolph Ro-Hawks (Universal City, TX), saw Marion's baseball team gain a win over Randolph by a tally of 9-5.
The Bulldogs (18-4) will now prepare for their battle against Cole (San Antonio, TX). The Cougars enter the 3A Region IV District 27 battle with a 4-16 record. In their last battle, Cole was overwhelmed by Jourdanton (Jourdanton, TX), 6-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Ro-Hawks face the Poteet Aggies (Poteet, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 27 battle, on Thursday, April 17. Randolph will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Aggies enter the battle with a 8-16 record after their 6-3 league loss to Great Hearts Northern Oaks (San Antonio, TX).
