The crowd at Monday's league battle between the Merrill Vandals (Merrill, MI) and the visiting St. Charles Bulldogs (St. Charles, MI), saw Merrill's baseball team beat St. Charles by a margin of 11-0.

The Vandals (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Coleman (Coleman, MI). The Comets enter the Mid-State battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Coleman was overwhelmed by Vestaburg (Vestaburg, MI), 9-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Bulldogs face the Sacred Heart Academy Irish (Mt. Pleasant, MI) in a Mid-State battle, on Wednesday, April 16. St. Charles will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Irish enter the battle with a 4-1 record after their 11-0 league win over Fulton (Middleton, MI).
