Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Mount Carmel defeats Midd-West

April 14, 2025: Middleburg, PA 17842

The Mount Carmel RED TORNADOES (Mount Carmel, PA) baseball trounced the host Midd-West Mustangs (Middleburg, PA), 20-12 in Monday's league challenge.

The RED TORNADOES now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Milton for a Heartland II challenge on Friday, April 18. Mount Carmel will clash with a Black Panthers team coming off a 20-1 league loss to Danville (Danville, PA). The Black Panthers record now stands at 2-5.

With the defeat, Midd-West drops to 2-5 on the year. The Mustangs host Lewisburg (Lewisburg, PA) to clash with the Green Dragons in a Heartland II challenge on Wednesday, April 16. The Green Dragons go into the challenge with a record of 3-5. Lewisburg won 6-3 in their recent league challenge against Central Columbia (Bloomsburg, PA)
