The Orange Tornadoes baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host University Phoenix to 2 in the Tornadoes league win on Monday.
The Tornadoes now own a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Irvington for a SEC - Independence test on Wednesday, April 16.
With the defeat, University drops to 0-2 on the year. The Phoenix travel to Shabazz (Newark, NJ) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 16. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 2-2.
