The Stratford Academy Eagles baseball team scored 18 runs and held the visiting Pinewood Christian Patriots to 13 in the Eagles non-league win on Monday.

The Eagles now own a 11-7 record. They take the field next when they host Piedmont Academy for a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 6 test on Tuesday, April 15. Stratford Academy will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 11-2 league win over Mount de Sales Academy (Macon, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 10-7.

With the defeat, Pinewood Christian drops to 13-3 on the year. The Patriots host Citizens Christian Academy (Douglas, GA) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 15. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 9-5. Citizens Christian Academy 11-11 in their recent non-league test against St. Francis (Hamburg, NY)
