The Piscataway Chiefs (Piscataway, NJ) baseball got by the host South Amboy Governors (South Amboy, NJ), 5-4 in Monday's non-league challenge.

The Chiefs now own a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Kennedy Memorial for a GMC - Blue challenge on Wednesday, April 16. Piscataway will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over J.P. Stevens (Edison, NJ). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-3.

With the defeat, South Amboy drops to 2-4 on the year. The Governors travel to Carteret (Carteret, NJ) to clash with the Ramblers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 16. The Ramblers go into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Carteret lost 12-2 in their recent league challenge against South River (South River, NJ)
