The Steubenville Big Red baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Weir Red Riders to 2 in the Big Red non-league win on Monday.

The Big Red now hold a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brooke for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 15. Steubenville will play a Bruins team coming off a 10-4 non-league loss to Buckeye Local (Rayland, OH). The Bruins record now stands at 9-7.

With the defeat, Weir drops to 5-8 on the year. The Red riders host Edison (Richmond, OH) to play the Wildcats in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 15. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 6-2. Edison lost 4-2 in their recent non-league test against Minerva (Minerva, OH)
