The United Lions baseball team (Armagh, PA), was nipped 10-9 in Monday's league challenge with the host West Shamokin Wolves (Rural Valley, PA)

The Wolves now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cambria Heights for a Heritage challenge on Wednesday, April 16. West Shamokin will clash with a Highlanders team coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Marion Center (Marion Center, PA). The Highlanders record now stands at 7-3.

With the defeat, United drops to 3-6 on the year. The Lions host Purchase Line (Commodore, PA) to clash with the Red Dragons in a Heritage challenge on Wednesday, April 16. The Red Dragons go into the challenge with a record of 0-8. Purchase Line lost 22-5 in their recent league challenge against Northern Cambria (Northern Cambria, PA)
