The Coronado Islanders (Coronado, CA) volleyball held off the visiting University City Centurions (San Diego, CA), 3-2 in Monday's league bout.

The Islanders now possess a 13-9 record. They play next when they travel to High Tech SD for a City Eastern bout on Tuesday, April 15. Coronado will clash with a Storm team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Mira Mesa (San Diego, CA). The Storm record now stands at 7-8.

With the loss, University City drops to 14-8 on the campaign. The Centurions travel to Canyon Hills (San Diego, CA) to clash with the Rattlers in a City Eastern bout on Tuesday, April 15. The Rattlers come into the bout with a record of 8-12. Canyon Hills lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Patrick Henry (San Diego, CA)
