The Corona del Sol Aztecs (Tempe, AZ) baseball trounced the host Sunnyslope Vikings (Phoenix, AZ), 16-2 in Monday's league challenge.
The Aztecs now own a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they host Desert Vista for a challenge on Thursday, April 17. Corona del Sol will clash with a Thunder team coming off a 9-8 non-league win over Red Mountain (Mesa, AZ). The Thunder record now stands at 8-6.
With the defeat, Sunnyslope drops to 0-12 on the year. The Vikings host Millennium (Goodyear, AZ) to clash with the Tigers in a challenge on Thursday, April 17. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 7-5. Millennium lost 8-4 in their recent league challenge against Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ)
