The Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC) lacrosse routed the host Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC), 18-6 in Monday's league outing.
The Mavericks now own a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cuthbertson for a Southern Carolina/Rocky River outing on Wednesday, April 16. Marvin Ridge will face a Cavaliers squad coming off a 19-3 league win over Sun Valley (Monroe, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 8-5.
With the loss, Porter Ridge falls to 4-5 on the year. The Pirates host Weddington (Matthews, NC) to face the Warriors in a Southern Carolina/Rocky River outing on Wednesday, April 16. The Warriors go into the outing with a record of 11-4. Weddington won 19-1 in their recent league outing against Parkwood (Monroe, NC)
