In Monday's league contest, the Early College Hornets (Dover, DE) soccer team edged the visiting Seaford Bluejays (Seaford, DE), by a tally of 2-1.
Next, the Hornets face the Caravel Academy Buccaneers (Bear, DE) in a non-league contest, on Monday, April 28. Early College will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Buccaneers enter the contest with a 8-0 record after their 4-1 league win over Wilmington Christian (Hockessin, DE).
The Bluejays (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Forest (Felton, DE). The Spartans enter the Henlopen South contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, Lake Forest held off Smyrna (Smyrna, DE), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
