Fans at Monday's league battle between the Powdersville Patriots (Greenville, SC) and the visiting St. Joseph's Catholic Knights (Greenville, SC), saw Powdersville's soccer squad knock off St. Joseph's Catholic by a count of 5-2.
The Patriots (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Emerald (Greenwood, SC). The Vikings enter the non-league battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Emerald by Fountain Inn (Fountain Inn, SC), 1-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Knights battle the Christ Church Episcopal Cavaliers (Greenville, SC) in a AAA Region 2 battle, on Wednesday, April 16. St. Joseph's Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Cavaliers enter the battle with a 10-2 record after their 1-0 league win over Powdersville (Greenville, SC).
