In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Eunice Cardinals baseball team scored a close 10-8 victory over the Artesia Bulldogs.
The Cardinals (7-3) will now prepare for their game against Loving (Loving, NM). The Falcons enter the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Loving held off Jal (Jal, NM), 25-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Lovington Wildcats (Lovington, NM) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 15. Artesia will attempt to improve on its 7-13 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 5-10 record after their 7-6 non-league loss to Clovis (Clovis, NM).
