North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Apex nips Apex Friendship

In Monday's league contest, the host Apex Cougars lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-8 triumph over the Apex Friendship Patriots.

The Cougars (12-1) will now prepare for their contest against Cary (Cary, NC). The Imps go into the Southwest Wake contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, Cary was nipped by Green Hope (Cary, NC), 19-2, in a league contest.

Next, the Patriots meet the Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC) in a Southwest Wake contest, on Tuesday, April 15. Apex Friendship will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record. The Mustangs go into the contest with a 11-3 record after their 18-1 league win over Panther Creek (Cary, NC).
