The Cuthbertson Cavaliers lacrosse squad scored 16 points and limited the host Sun Valley Spartans to 11 in the Cavaliers league triumph on Monday.

The Cavaliers now own a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marvin Ridge for a Southern Carolina/Rocky River challenge on Wednesday, April 16. Cuthbertson will clash with a Mavericks squad coming off a 22-1 league win over Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC). The Mavericks record now stands at 8-7.

With the loss, Sun Valley falls to 4-8 on the year. The Spartans host Parkwood (Monroe, NC) to clash with the Wolf Pack in a Southern Carolina/Rocky River challenge on Wednesday, April 16. The Wolf Pack go into the challenge with a record of 4-6. Parkwood lost 22-1 in their recent league challenge against Weddington (Matthews, NC)
