Petersburg Crimson Wave (Petersburg, VA) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech Dragons (Petersburg, VA), 8-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Petersburg advances its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Crimson Wave travel to Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA) to clash with the Warriors in a Central test on Tuesday, April 15. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 3-2. Matoaca won 2-0 in their recent league test against Meadowbrook (Richmond, VA)

The Dragons now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Surry County for a Tri-Rivers test on Wednesday, April 23.
