In Monday's league test, the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans (Burnt Hills, NY) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Averill Park Warriors (Averill Park, NY), by a tally of 5-0.

Next, the Spartans clash with the Columbia Blue Devils (East Greenbush, NY) in a Section 2 Suburban - Blue test, on Wednesday, April 16. Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Blue Devils go into the test with a 2-2 record after their 2-0 league win over Colonie Central (Albany, NY).

The Warriors (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Bethlehem Central (Delmar, NY). The Eagles go into the Section 2 Suburban - Blue test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Bethlehem Central held off Albany (Albany, NY), 9-3, in a league test.
