Virginia High School Softball - Tunstall bounces Bassett

In Monday's league match, the host Tunstall Trojans softball team scored a nice 14-3 win over the Bassett Bengals.
The Trojans (7-3) will now prepare for their match against Halifax County (South Boston, VA). The Comets come into the Piedmont match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, Halifax County notched a victory over Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA), 6-2, in a league match.
In their next game, the Bengals battle the Dan River Wildcats (Ringgold, VA) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, April 16. Bassett will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the match with a 3-3 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA).
