Boaz Pirates (Boaz, AL) supporters left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Oneonta Redskins (Oneonta, AL), 5-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Boaz improves its record to 19-7 on the year. The Pirates travel to Fort Payne (Fort Payne, AL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 15. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 9-11. Fort Payne lost 15-5 in their recent non-league game against Scottsboro (Scottsboro, AL)
