Ohio High School Softball - Buckeye Valley edges Highland

April 14, 2025: Delaware, OH 43015

The Buckeye Valley Barons softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Highland Fighting Scots to 8 in the Barons non-league win on Monday.

The Barons now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bexley for a Central Buckeye Conference battle on Wednesday, April 16. Buckeye Valley will confront a Lions team coming off a 12-4 league loss to Grandview Heights (Columbus, OH). The Lions record now stands at 3-9.

With the loss, Highland moves to 7-4 on the season. The Fighting scots host Shelby (Shelby, OH) to confront the Whippets in a Mid Ohio Athletic battle on Tuesday, April 15. The Whippets come into the battle with a record of 11-4. Shelby lost 9-3 in their recent non-league battle against Lexington (Lexington, OH)
