The Pearsall Mavericks softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Carrizo Springs Wildcats to 0 in the Mavericks league win on Monday.

The Mavericks now sport a 18-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pleasanton for a 4A Region IV District 27 battle on Thursday, April 17. Pearsall will confront a Eagles team coming off a 7-2 league loss to Somerset (Somerset, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 17-13.

With the loss, Carrizo Springs moves to 3-22 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Floresville (Floresville, TX) to confront the Tigers/Jaguars in a 4A Region IV District 27 battle on Thursday, April 17. The Tigers/Jaguars come into the battle with a record of 9-18. Floresville lost 11-10 in their recent league battle against Uvalde (Uvalde, TX)
