In Monday's non-league test, the Pickens County Tornadoes (Reform, AL) softball squad got by the host Central Falcons (Tuscaloosa, AL), by a tally of 7-6.

Next, the Tornadoes meet the South Lamar Stallions (Millport, AL) in a 1A Area 9 test, on Tuesday, April 15. Pickens County will attempt to advance on its 9-6 season record. The Stallions go into the test with a 12-12 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Lamar County (Vernon, AL).

The Falcons (4-14) will now prepare for their test against Northridge (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Jaguars go into the 6A Area 6 test with a 5-16 record.
