The St. Francis Gladiators softball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Cheboygan Chiefs to 6 in the Gladiators non-league win on Monday.

The Gladiators now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Traverse City Central for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 16. St. Francis will encounter a Trojans team coming off a 11-4 non-league win over Sault Area (Sault St. Marie, MI). The Trojans record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Cheboygan moves to 0-1 on the season. The Chiefs travel to Kingsley (Kingsley, MI) to encounter the Stags in a non-league battle on Thursday, April 24. The Stags come into the battle with a record of 2-3.
