The Elk Mound Mounders softball team scored 14 runs and held the host Colfax Vikings to 9 in the Mounders league win on Monday.

The Mounders now possess a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thorp for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 15. Elk Mound will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 11-7 league win over Cadott (Cadott, WI). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Colfax moves to 3-4 on the season. The Vikings host Elmwood/Plum City (Elmwood, WI) to confront the Wolves in a Dunn - St. Croix battle on Thursday, April 17. The Wolves come into the battle with a record of 2-3. Elmwood/Plum City lost 7-2 in their recent league battle against Mondovi (Mondovi, WI)
