Pennsylvania High School Softball - Crestwood held off by Hazleton Area

In Monday's league test, the Hazleton Area Cougars (Hazleton, PA) softball squad got by the visiting Crestwood Comets (Mountain Top, PA), by a tally of 8-7.

Next, the Cougars clash with the Wilkes-Barre Wolfpack (Wilkes-Barre, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 1 test, on Wednesday, April 16. Hazleton Area will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record. The Wolfpack go into the test with a 2-5 record after their 8-5 league win over Pittston (Pittston, PA).

The Comets (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Pittston (Pittston, PA). The Patriots go into the Wyoming Valley 1 test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Pittston was nudged by Wilkes-Barre (Wilkes-Barre, PA), 8-5, in a league test.
