The Duncan Wildkats triumphed over the host San Simon Longhorns softball squad by a count of 17-2 in Monday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildkats meet the Valley Union Blue Devils (Elfrida, AZ) in a 1A South challenge, on Tuesday, April 15. Duncan will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 14-2 non-league loss to Willcox (Willcox, AZ).

The Longhorns (1-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Baboquivari (Sells, AZ). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 2-10 record. In their last challenge, Baboquivari was routed by Valley Union (Elfrida, AZ), 20-9, in a league challenge.
