The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Eastern Montgomery Mustangs (Elliston, VA) and the host Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA), observed Eastern Montgomery's softball team prevail over Fleming by a tally of 11-0.

The Mustangs (4-5) will now prepare for their bout against Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA). The Bears go into the non-league bout with a 1-9 record. In their last bout, Bland County was routed by Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA), 27-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Colonels battle the Northside Vikings (Roanoke, VA) in a Blue Ridge bout, on Tuesday, April 15. Fleming will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 17-7 non-league loss to James River (Buchanan, VA).
