The Eastview Lightning softball team scored 9 runs and held the host Shakopee Sabers to 6 in the Lightning league win on Monday.

The Lightning now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Prior Lake for a South Suburban Conference battle on Wednesday, April 16. Eastview will confront a Lakers team coming off a 7-6 league loss to Lakeville North (Lakeville, MN). The Lakers record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Shakopee moves to 2-3 on the season. The Sabers travel to Minnetonka (Minnetonka, MN) to confront the Skippers in a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 15. The Skippers come into the battle with a record of 4-0. Minnetonka won 14-1 in their recent league battle against Buffalo (Buffalo, MN)
