Pennsylvania High School Softball - Shenango bounces Freedom Area

April 14, 2025: Freedom, PA 15042

The Shenango Wildcats softball team scored 18 runs and held the host Freedom Area Bulldogs to 1 in the Wildcats league win on Monday.

The Wildcats now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Laurel for a WPIAL 2A 1 battle on Tuesday, April 15. Shenango will encounter a Spartans team coming off a 15-0 league win over Aliquippa (Aliquippa, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Freedom Area moves to 0-10 on the season. The Bulldogs host Riverside (Ellwood City, PA) to encounter the Panthers in a WPIAL 2A 1 battle on Wednesday, April 16. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 1-3. Riverside lost 16-0 in their recent league battle against Neshannock (New Castle, PA)
