The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Gloucester Fishermen (Gloucester, MA) and the host Winthrop Vikings (Winthrop, MA), observed Gloucester's softball team notch a victory over Winthrop by a final score of 12-0.

The Fishermen (6-0) will now prepare for their bout against Swampscott (Swampscott, MA). The Big Blue go into the Northeast bout with a 3-2 record. In their last bout, Swampscott gained a win over Lynn Classical (Lynn, MA), 8-6, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the Medford Mustangs (Medford, MA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 15. Winthrop will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record.
